Field Trip Recaps

End of year field trips are one of the highlights of the school year, and this year did not disappoint. From local lanes to the Upper Peninsula, our Eagles made memories across the board.

Kindergarten kept it classic — bowling at Spare Time Lanes, topped off with ice cream on Main Street at The Dipper. A perfect day!

1st Grade went hands-on with nature, visiting the Oden State Fish Hatchery and Raven Hill Discovery Center. Two great stops that had students exploring science and discovery up close.

2nd and 3rd Grade packed in the adventure with mini golf, rafting, a ropes course, and bumper boats. Safe to say, no one went home bored.

4th and 5th Grade had the big trip of the year — a three-hour journey to Marquette that took students across the Mackinac Bridge, with a stop overlooking Lake Michigan, a visit to Lakenenland Sculpture Park, and a meaningful stop at St. Peter's Cathedral and Bishop Baraga's tomb. Students also toured Bishop Baraga's residence, which overlooks Lake Superior. The day wrapped up with yogurt ice cream in downtown Marquette and dinner in St. Ignace on the way home. Three Great Lakes. Creative sculptures. A visit to our school's namesake. It was a beautiful day and a reminder of just how much there is to discover — near and far.

Here's to the teachers, chaperones, and families who made these trips possible. Thank you!
