Track and Field Day Fun
School may be out for summer, but we couldn't let Field Day pass without a proper sendoff!
On Thursday, the sun showed up and so did the Eagles — competing across a full lineup of events, then breaking for a lunch of grilled hot dogs and all the fixings. The afternoon brought out the sidewalk chalk, a team clue hunt, ice cream, the always-popular pie-a-staff activity, and a staff vs. student water balloon fight that was, by all accounts, hard-fought.
Morning events ranged from Field Day classics — potato sack races, the 100-yard dash, relay races, and the obstacle course — to some newer additions like cornhole and the frisbee toss.
A huge thank-you to our staff for putting together such a memorable day, and to the parent volunteers whose help made it all possible. Days like this don't happen without you.
What a way to close out a wonderful year. We're already looking forward to Field Day 2027!
A special thank you to Jaimee Derk for the beautiful photos.
