A Sweet Fall Field Trip to Golden River Orchard

Our Preschool 4s and Kindergarten students enjoyed a beautiful fall day at Golden River Orchard!

The adventure started with a bus ride—which is always part of the fun! Once at the orchard, students headed out to pick their own apples and visited the pumpkin patch, where everyone chose a small pumpkin to take home.

Students also got a behind-the-scenes look at what happens to apples after they’re picked. They learned how the apples are sorted and saw the large crates used to collect them—each holding roughly 800 apples!

Of course, no fall field trip is complete without a treat. The students enjoyed donut holes before heading back to school with their apples, pumpkins, and plenty of stories from the day. Beautiful weather, apple picking, pumpkins, and a bus ride with friends made for a pretty great fall day!

Thank you to Golden River Orchard for welcoming our students and giving them such a fun, hands-on experience. 🍎🎃
