Volunteer Commitment Each family must commit to 25 hours of volunteer time, or the cash equivalent (with the ratio of 1 hour = $20.00). Ten (10) of these hours should be contributed to the Boosters Gala in some form before, during or after the event. If the 25 hours are not met or equivalent fee not paid before June, you will have your tuition increased. This amount will be prorated on the actual hours logged in the volunteer book in the school office. Preschool families are not required to participate in this 25-hour commitment. Financial Aid Financial aid is available for grades K-6 to any family who wishes to send their child to Bishop Baraga but does not have the financial resources to meet the tuition. Our school will not deny admission to students because of a demonstrated financial need. For those families seeking tuition assistance, we have developed a scholarship fund. A committee reviews all scholarship applications and has the final decision on who receives tuition assistance. The application process is kept strictly confidential, and the identities of the scholarship committee are kept anonymous to ensure every application is treated fairly and without bias.
