Bishop Baraga Teams With FACTS
Since the stability of Bishop Baraga Catholic School and the
quality of its programs are of the utmost importance, we are
always seeking ways to make improvements to benefit
everyone. After considerable research and investigation, we
have partnered with FACTS Management Company to help us
manage our tuition payment program. FACTS is used by over
5,000 schools nationally. We are pleased to be working with them and are confident this
program will lead to greater financial stability for the school while providing convenience to
families.
One of the school goals this year at Bishop Baraga is to concentrate our efforts on improving the business side of our school. By taking advantage of the security and convenience of payment processing and information technology offered by FACTS, we remain committed to this goal.
Please note the following advantages in using the FACTS system for tuition payment handling:
1. Payment Options:
You can still pay in full at the school (and receive a 3% discount), or register with FACTS to create a flexible payment plan.
Automatic payments can be made from a checking or saving account or from a variety of credit cards including MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. A service fee of 2.5% per payment will be charged for credit card transactions to the enrolling family.
2. You may enroll in FACTS by:
- Going online to our school Web site: www.bishopbaraga.com and clicking on "FACTS Management System" from the Home Page.
- Completing a FACTS agreement form (pick one up at the school office).
If you need assistance with the enrollment process, please call the school office to schedule an appointment.
3. Convenience & Security: Along with multiple payment plan options, your payments are processed securely through a bank transaction.
4. Peace of Mind Insurance: FACTS offers this optional benefit for only $12 per year per family. In the event of death of the responsible party or spouse, the remaining tuition balance owed for the current school year is paid to the school.
5. Consumer Account: You may check your personal account or make payments on-line (if applicable) from the convenience of your home or office anytime.
6. Financial Aid Program: Families in need can apply for financial aid using the FACTS aid assessment program. All applications and supporting financial documents, along with a $25 application fee, are sent directly to FACTS. The school will not have access to your sensitive financial information, but instead receives only a list of applicants, prioritized by need. This system ensures a fair and professional review of every applicant. Any interested family may apply, regardless of religious affiliation. As always, we will continue to work with families should special circumstances or “hardship” cause arise during the school year.
One of the universal challenges in education is achieving a balance between our educational mission and financial stability. It is precisely for this reason we are enlisting the help of the FACTS Management Company. With FACTS, the school maintains decision-making control.
