Student Council

All students in grades 4 - 6 are members of the Student Council. Students who wish to
be more involved can run and be elected as the Student Council Officers (President,
Vice-President, Treasurer or Secretary). Under the direction of Kitty LaBlance, Jill
Kwiatkowski and Jerry Canell, the council represents the student body and meets at
least once per month (more if necessary for special events) during their lunch period.
The Student Council is responsible for planning activities for the school, such as the
haunted classroom, school dances and events for Catholic Schools Week. If there are
any student concerns, those are also brought to the attention of the principal during
council meetings. Money that is raised through Student Council activities are put back
into the school and community charities.
