Cooking Club

If you are walking through the halls after school and smell something delicious, it may just be Mrs. Watkins and her Cooking Club hard at work. This group of 20 students meets twice a month from October through March to work on building skills in the kitchen. Each meeting features one recipe that the students prepare, cook and, of course, sample! The club focuses on letting kids work independently in the kitchen and provides opportunities to practice the math, measuring and planning that every recipe requires. If you are looking for a delicious after-school activity – come join us!

Students in grades 4 - 6
First and third Thursday of each month, 3:35 - 4:45
Students meet in the gym, outside of the school kitchen
There is a $3.00 fee for each meeting (to cover the cost of ingredients).
